Well this is it, the last few days in the run up to Cornwall Pride 2015, seems like there is a million and one things still to do but it's getting there and should be great day. The weather is looking promising, the marquee goes up on Thursday, all the acts are booked and we're all running around to make sure every little detail is sorted.
During the afternoon we will be presenting a cheque for £700 raised by our chairman for his 60th birthday Skydive and thankfully he survived. There will be a fantastic Raffle, some great entertainment, fab stands and stalls including Amnesty International who are coming at our request in support of this years theme "Solidarity". So when we are all having a great time enjoying the day and the support of friends and family and all the organisations that so kindly donate to help make Pride possible let's spare a thought for those LGBT and Trans friends around the world who live in fear of prejudice, bigotry, imprisonment and death.
Cornwall Pride is not just for us - it's for them too
